Web Design - Second Trimester, 2011

E-mail Mrs. Culbert, cculbert@dkschools.org . In the e-mail, you need to include the following:

 

Your name

Your phone number

Your grade

Your parent's name

Your parent's phone number

Your paren't e-mail

List any computer classes that you have taken

 

Every e-mail sent to Mrs. Culbert, MUST include Web Design 2ndTri.

 

Go to your U (Home Drive) create a folder titled Web Design Class.

Create the following folders inside of this folder:

 

Weebly

Wix

Frontpage

Expressions

Dreamweaver

 

Decide what you would like your first webpage to be about. Go to the internet and select a minimum of 10 pictures that will relate to your webpage. You will need to save these images. Each image will need to be saved in your weebly folder.

  3. Are there subpages to this site? How many?
  4. Is it easy to locate information?
  5. Are there videos or images?
  6. Do they upload easily?
  7. Is there information regrading how to contact the responsible parties?
  8. Do you like this site?
  9. Is it informative?
  10. Is the site fast or slow?
  11. Is there a navigation bar? Does it stay consistent throught the subpages? Is it necessary to always go back to the main page in order to see subsequent pages?

By Wedesday, December 14, the following must be completed.

 

  1. Your Weebly page published and the URL (web address) e-mailed to cculbert@dkschools.org. Remember that you must include Web Design - Second Tri in your subject line.
  2. Your banner must be saved as both a PDS and a JPG file in your Weebly folder.
  3. Your weebly webpage must have a copy of your banner located some place on the page, preferably on the main page.
  4. All of the criteris in the Weebly worksheet (listed above) should be part of your weebly page.

The subject MUST say Web Design Second Trim.

 

Choose the topic for your second web page.

Locate a minimum of 15 pictures for this topic.

Begin your banner for the this webpage.

Your banner must have the following:

         Seven layers

         Four pictures

         Text

         The text must have at least three effects.

         The final banner must be saved as both a psd and a jpg.
